The View at Forest Park

The View at Forest Park is a 301-apartment high-rise at 4400 Lindell Boulevard in the Central West End, with studio, 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom apartments in a variety of layouts. It has a 24-hour door attendant and three elevators.

Apartments have 9-foot ceilings, spacious walk-in closets, central heat and air, and a private balcony or patio, with views of the Central West End, downtown St. Louis or the Cathedral Basilica depending on the unit. Kitchens are all-electric with a dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave and refrigerator. The building has classic units and newly renovated ones, and select units have stainless-steel appliances, granite countertops and vinyl flooring.

Shared spaces include a swimming pool with a sundeck, a multi-sport court, outdoor lounge areas, a renovated lobby with a coffee bar, a renovated recreation room, a 24-hour fitness center and an on-site laundry facility. There are EV charging stations, bike racks, controlled gated access and on-call maintenance. Parking is assigned, in an indoor garage or outdoor gated spaces; parking prices aren't listed.

The building is close to Forest Park, SLU and the Barnes-Jewish medical campus, about a 7-minute drive or 15-minute walk. The Danforth campus is about a 12-minute drive or about an hour on foot, so plan on a car or transit for Danforth. Whole Foods is nearby.

Leases run 6 to 15 months. Rent is base rent only: trash ($12) and pest control ($5) are added each month, water, sewer and gas are billed back by usage, and residents set up electricity and internet. Applying costs $50 per applicant plus a $300 admin fee per apartment. Income must be 3 times the monthly rent, verified with three recent pay stubs. With approved credit the security deposit is currently waived. Renters insurance is required. Up to 2 pets are allowed per apartment, with breed restrictions, a one-time $350 fee and $30 a month in pet rent for each pet. New residents can move out within the first 30 days for any reason with no termination fee, paying only for the time they lived there.
