Del Coronado Apartments

Del Coronado is a 210-apartment mid-rise at 4949 West Pine Boulevard in the Central West End, between N Kingshighway and Euclid Avenue. It offers studio, 1- and 2-bedroom apartments in both renovated and traditional floor plans, with on-site door attendants and three elevators.

Apartments have all-electric appliances, oversized closets, a refrigerator, and air conditioning and heating, and many have two bathrooms. Some units have stainless-steel appliances, hardwood flooring, designer light fixtures, built-in shelving, custom cabinetry and a microwave.

Community spaces are on two floors of the building and open 24 hours: a fitness center, an entertainment lounge with a wet bar and pool table, a game room, a conference room, laundry facilities, a bike room and a package room. There's controlled-access entry, EV charging, Wi-Fi in community spaces and organized social events. Parking is assigned in an attached garage or surface lot, at $125 a month for covered garage spaces and $100 for uncovered spaces.

Forest Park and Whole Foods are both less than a block away, and Maryland Plaza is a few blocks away. The medical campus is about a 5-minute drive or 7-minute walk. The Danforth campus is about an 11-minute drive or close to an hour on foot, so plan on a car or transit for Danforth.

Leases are typically 12 months, and shorter terms may be available on request. Rent is base rent only: water, sewer, trash and hot water are billed back by usage, and residents set up electricity and internet. Applying costs $75 per applicant or guarantor plus a one-time $250 admin fee. Income must be 3 times the monthly rent, verified with two recent pay stubs, and offer letters are accepted as income. A guarantor can be used if you don't meet the income requirement. Renters insurance with $100,000 liability coverage is required. Up to 2 pets are allowed per apartment, with breed restrictions, a one-time $250 fee and $30 a month in pet rent for each pet. New residents can move out within the first 30 days for any reason with no termination fee, paying only for the time they lived there.
