Apartments open now are 1 bedroom, 1 bath plans of 704 and 750 square feet and 2 bedroom, 1 bath plans of 850 square feet. Every apartment includes a refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher and garbage disposal, plus a private entrance and ample closet space. Renovated and luxury units have a washer and dryer, and select units add wood-look floors, walk-in closets, ceiling fans, central heat and air, a separate dining area, a large kitchen and an attached or detached garage.

Shared amenities include a clubhouse, a 24-hour fitness center, a 24-hour laundry center, a fenced-in dog park and extra storage. Parking is free and first come, first served, and garages are available for $50 to $85 a month.

Stanford Place is about a 13 minute drive to the Danforth campus and 16 minutes to the medical campus, so plan on having a car. Several Metro bus stops are nearby, and Walgreens, Schnucks, Dierbergs, Whole Foods, Target and Trader Joe's are close by.

Rent covers base rent only. Trash is $12 a month and pest control is $3 a month, water and sewer are billed back based on the floor plan and number of residents, and residents set up their own electricity, gas and internet. Leases run 6 to 15 months. Applying costs $60 per applicant plus a $250 administrative fee per apartment, and income must be 3 times the monthly rent, or a guarantor earning 4 times the rent can sign. Up to 2 pets are welcome with no breed or weight restrictions, with a one-time $250 fee and $25 a month in pet rent per pet. Renters insurance is required, apartments are unfurnished, and any new resident can move out within the first 30 days for any reason with no termination fee.
